The general director of TVET-A was invited to Iran
the general director of TVET-A, Al-Haj Mowlavi Ghulam Haidar Shahamat, was invited to Iran, by the cultural officials of the Iranian Embassy in a meeting in Kabul.
This meeting, attended by the deputies of the TVET-A, discussed how to cooperate in the technical and vocational education field.
At the beginning of this meeting, the general directorate of TVET-A provided explanations about the status of the authority and its educational programs.
Respected Mowlavi Shahamat, referring to the problems and needs of TVET-A, called for Iran's cooperation in enhancing the capacity of instructors, curriculum development, quality assurance, and hiring graduates of technical and vocational education to Iranian institutions.
He expressed appreciation for the goodwill of the Islamic Republic of Iran towards the people of Afghanistan, stating that Afghanistan currently needs more collaboration with Islamic countries for development.
He added that the TVET-A plays a significant role in economic advancement and poverty reduction.
Al-Haj Mowlavi Shahamat also discussed how Iran could collaborate with the TVET-A, emphasizing the need for a specialized team to visit Afghanistan in the curriculum development sector and to share educational programs and packages.
He highlighted the importance of exchanging experiences between technical and vocational education institutions of both countries to organize seminars and workshops.
Meanwhile, Amir Reza Adibi, representing the Iranian Embassy at the meeting, invited the general director of TVET-A to visit Iran to create better opportunities.
Mr. Adibi, referring to the current situation in Afghanistan, stated that the country needs round-the-clock work and increased efforts to achieve economic progress.
He praised the leadership of the TVET-A and its team, stating that the success of scientific organizations lies in having specialized and skilled individuals.
He pledged that the Iranian Embassy in Kabul would convey all proposals and needs of the TVET-A to Iranian officials through diplomatic channels.
At the end of this meeting, officials from the Iranian Embassy in Kabul expressed satisfaction with holding discussions with the TVET-A and committed to strengthening cooperation.
