A Chinese company is investing in the vocational education sector in Afghanistan
Respected Mr. Mowlavi Ghulam Haider Shahamat, the general director of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority, met and discussed with a Chinese company delegation.
This delegation, representing the "Yanki" company, has been sent to Afghanistan by the Chinese government and is expected to invest in the vocational education sector in the country.
During the meeting, the Chinese delegation explained their work process in Afghanistan and added that establishing a vocational institute in Afghanistan to train skilled workforce for the job market is one of their main objectives for this trip to the country.
Additionally, they expressed optimism about the overall security situation in Afghanistan and mentioned that many Chinese companies are currently interested in investing in Afghanistan.
Both sides engaged in discussions about how to establish a vocational institute in Afghanistan and shared their perspectives on this matter.
Mr. Shahamat also explained the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority, stating that poverty alleviation and training skilled workforce for the job market are among the fundamental goals of this department.
Furthermore, the general director of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority emphasized that all necessary facilities for foreign companies, including the Chinese "Yanki" company, will be provided for their investment in Afghanistan.
It was decided during this meeting to finalize the timeframe for signing an agreement between the two parties so that formal cooperation would begin.
