The TVET-A Leadership Message for the Beginning of the 1403 Educational Year!

To all esteemed residents:

The Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority leadership presents best wishes for the 1403 educational year to all Afghans. We wish you a happy, successful, and fulfilling past year, as well as the very best in the future.

As you are aware, Afghanistan is one of those countries that has overcome cruel empires and endured decades of war. Now, this country is gradually growing in accordance with global standards in various fields of knowledge, such as art, industry, agriculture, and services.

Given that all residents of the country share the common goal of a developed and stable Afghanistan, knowledge, technical skills, and professionalism are key factors.

Looking at the history of humankind, education and training are natural elements of society. However, knowledge has not remained stagnant; it has had a positive impact on human life, with a significant part of this effect being attributed to technical and vocational education.

The Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority is committed to disseminating technical and vocational knowledge for lasting stability, addressing the current and future needs of Afghan life. In order to train the next generation of the country with technical and vocational expertise, the TVET-A leadership has supported academic staff and achieved notable advancements in the development of these educational programs. Some key achievements are as follows:

- The TVET-A developed its five-year strategy in accordance with the Islamic Emirate policy for the first time.

- The TVET-A enrolled 36,000 individual students across 73 fields in the 1402 Hijri Shamsi Solar Calendar.

- Through a compromise, a one-year delay for those who wish to pursue higher education after graduating from TVET-A institutes was eliminated.

- The TVET-A recruited 288 skilled and professional teachers through a competitive process in various fields.

- The TVET-A devised an approved plan for Mujahideen Training in the field of administration and management.

- The TVET-A leadership delegation traveled to all provinces of the country to oversee curriculum, education, and educational centers.

- The TVET-A organized a national exhibition for innovations and top initiatives, showcasing 1,220 different projects.

- Teacher salaries were increased from 60% to 100%.

- The TVET-A established guidelines for distributing lands to teachers.

- The TVET-A implemented capacity-building initiatives to enhance the educational level of teachers.

- To improve affairs management, the authority devised a digitalization plan.

The TVET-A has made commitments to the residents of the county, including the recruitment of 1,000 intelligent graduates in various departments, the training of Mujahideen in administration and management fields across 34 provinces, the establishment of standardized technical education centers, and the identification of financial supporters to effectively implement the five-year strategy.

The TVET-A leadership assures that through the successful implementation of all plans and programs, the country will progress, and the next generation will be trained in Islamic principles, knowledge, and skills.

To achieve these goals and objectives, the TVET-A leadership requests that all residents of the country recognize the importance of technical and vocational education and support the authority in the implementation of plans and programs. Together, we will fulfill our responsibilities towards society.
