The start of a Vocational Education Program worth 81 million Afghanis in four provinces of the country

The opening ceremony of short-term courses at TVET-A was held in the presence of government officials.
These vocational training courses are being launched in Kabul, Bamyan, Daikundi, and Baghlan provinces, and 1393 individuals will be engaged to learn.
The courses include poultry farming, electrical appliance repair, car repair, motorcycle repair, tailoring, fruit and vegetable processing, carpet weaving, beekeeping, carpentry, and computer training.
At the commencement of the ceremony, Mr. Matiullah Hedayat, the Director of the Vocational Education and Training Administration (TVET-A), extended his gratitude for the collaboration of the Agha Khan Foundation and the Rupani Foundation with the Authority.
Meanwhile, Mr. Mawlavi Mobasher Agha, the General Director of Educational Affairs, stated that the TVET-A provides vocational and technical training to young people, creating employment opportunities.
On the other hand, the Deputy Minister of Energy and Water spoke at the ceremony, emphasizing the importance of learning and supporting technical and vocational education. He stated that modern sciences and vocational education contribute to the progress and advancement of society.
Mr. Mufti Fazal Rahman Fazil, the Deputy of Financial and Administrative Affairs of TVET-A, also spoke at the program. He expressed appreciation for the collaboration of institutions with the people of Afghanistan.
Mr. Fazil also mentioned that the Vocational Education and Training Administration has provided all facilities and opportunities to serve young people.
The program concluded with prayers for Afghanistan.
