The General Director of TVET-A Talked with Officials of "Serve" institution in Afghanistan

Respected Mowlavi Ghulam Haidar Shahamat, General Director of TVET-A, met with Mr. Kindy, Chief Executive of Serve institution in Afghanistan, and his accompanying delegation.

The meeting was attended by Mowlavi Ghulam Saeed Ehsas, deputy director of technical and vocational affairs.

The meeting focused on how to cooperate with the TVET-A in the special education sector.

At the beginning of this meeting, the general director of TVET-A provided detailed explanations about the different areas of this office.

Alhaj Mowlavi Shahamat reiterated that the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority currently has 16 special education centers nationwide that provide vocational training for people with hearing and blindness disabilities.

Serve institution is also active in various areas including rehabilitation of disabled people in Afghanistan.

The Chief Executive of Serve institution in this meeting with the general director of TVET-A pledged to cooperate in the capacity building of the special education teachers of this department.

The meeting was decided to use the TVET-A`s capacities to enhance the special education sector in cooperation with the "Serve" institution.
