The development of skilled and specialized human resources is one of the key factors in the economic and social development of any country. Any kind of economic-social investment requires planning and investment in technical and vocational education.
Currently, the Technical and Vocational Education Authority is implementing plans for the development of the country's human resources. This department is striving to provide Opportunity for technical and vocational education in line with the needs of the job market in both short and long term.
In recent months, the educational centers of the Technical and Vocational Education Authority have held short-term training courses for hundreds of people in the center and provinces.
In these courses, skills such as solar engineering, mobile repair, and tailoring are taught.
These training courses are held with the aim of skill-building for citizens and their self-employment.
Abdul Wadood Hotak, head of the Vocational Programs Planning Department, says that most graduates of these courses become self-employed after completing their studies.
He emphasizes the effectiveness of short-term courses and adds that efforts are being made to increase the number of courses offered.
Mr. Hotak also adds that currently, the capacity to attract students to short-term courses is low due to a lack of facilities, and efforts are being made to find a solution in this regard.
