The beginning of the new academic year 1402
Dear esteemed staff members, students and overall stakeholders of Afghanistan's technical and vocational education and training authority,
On behalf of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, I extend my warmest greetings and best wishes to you all on the occasion of the beginning of the new academic year 1402. May Allah grant us the strength, wisdom, and guidance to make significant progress in the field of technical and vocational education and contribute to the development and prosperity of our beloved country.
As you all know, technical and vocational education and training are integral components of any society's educational system, especially for developing countries like Afghanistan. It is crucial to enhance and strengthen our TVET programs by implementing the latest scientific and technological advancements, standardizing our curricula, and providing quality education to our youth.
The TVETA's strategic plan, currently in effect, aims to improve and mechanize our educational system, placing TVET programs as one of its main priorities. As we commence this academic year under the theme of "Attraction to Technical and Vocational Education and Training," I urge you all to work diligently towards fulfilling the following recommendations:
Firstly, strive to provide fair and quality TVET education in accordance with the teachings of the Quran and the Prophet's (pbuh) sayings. While upholding Islamic Sharia principles the pursuit of knowledge is a sacred duty and a pathway to success and progress.
Secondly, let this academic year be a milestone in the development of our technical and vocational education and training system. With hard work and dedication, we can bring our country to new heights of success and prosperity.
Thirdly, it is our responsibility to ensure that every child and youth in the country has access to education. Work with the officials from the Ministry of Education and other relevant stakeholders to encourage and support those who are deprived of this divine blessing.
Fourthly, create a safe and secure educational environment, free from any kind of discrimination, prejudice, or corruption. Such practices undermine the sanctity of education and must not be tolerated.
Fifthly, in addition to education, we must promote the values of love, respect, brotherhood, and development in our country. This is our religious and national duty, and we must work tirelessly to instill these values in our students and communities.
Sixthly, instill self-confidence and patriotism in our students. Encourage them to be proud of their heritage and culture while embracing their responsibilities as citizens of this great nation.
Seventhly, guarantee the future of our students by equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to become professionals in their respective fields. We must prioritize the collective and national interests over our personal interests.
Eighthly, be an active, tireless, and committed individual of this holy caravan. It is our duty to serve our nation and the Islamic Emirate with sincerity and dedication.
Lastly, provide real service and be accountable to the nation and the Islamic Emirate. We must strive to deliver our best and continuously improve our programs to meet the needs of our society.
The TVETA's leadership is committed to providing you with the necessary support and resources to achieve these goals. Together, we can make significant progress in the field of technical and vocational education and training and contribute to the development and prosperity of our beloved country.
May Allah bless us all and grant us the strength and wisdom to succeed in our endeavors.
