Brief Introduction about the Institute of Beautiful Arts and Industry

The Institute of Beautiful Arts and Industry is located in the seventh district of Kabul city. This center for vocational education was founded in 1923 as the Kabul Industry Vocational School by King Amanullah Khan and Ghulam Mohammad Maimanagi. In view of the necessity and with excellent teaching quality, it was upgraded from a vocational school to an institute in 2011. It provides vocational and technical education for students from the tenth (10) to fourteenth (14) grade (school and institute level) in the fields of beautiful arts and industry.

This institute has a well-equipped building with (14) classrooms, electricity, water, and a sports field.

The Institute of Beautiful Arts and Industry has a total of (56) employees, including (40) teachers, (6) administrative staff, and (10) service staff.

This institute offers (5) fields of study (graphic design, painting, ceramics, woodworking, physical education, and sports science) and approximately (782) students are engaged in vocational education in these fields.

The Institute of Beautiful Arts and Industry has an equipped computer lab.

Practical Workshops:

The Kabul Mechanics Institute has a total of (10) equipped practical workshops in the areas of carpentry, metalworking, weightlifting and boxing, gymnastics, graphic design, painting, decorative ceramics, machinery, practical technology, and automotive.

The number of teachers in this institute is (40), including (28) male teachers and (12) female teachers.
